Abstract

LapA is the largest surface adhesion protein of Pseudomonas putida that initiates biofilmformation. Here, by using transposon insertion mutagenesis and a conditional lapA mutant,we demonstrate for the first time that LapA influences chloral hydrate (CH) dechlorination in P. putida LF54. © 2013, American Society for Microbiology.
