Abstract
The human and economic costs caused by the pandemic are not the same in every nation. For this reason, the article highlights how isolation and difficulty in accessing primary necessities demonstrate social inequality in Colombia and present a challenge to the population that cannot cover the expenses derived from staying at home. This situation is aggravated by other national problems. The text describes several events that have transformed daily life while foreseeing a future marked by inexperience and a revision of the mechanisms established to achieve a common wellbeing.
