Abstract
As part of a coordinated project funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, project that pursues the analyses of educational policies on continuous training for compulsory education teachers, we present in this paper the teacher perspective on compulsory education training activities, and the impact such training has had firstly in teacher learning process and secondly in their classes and thestudent learning process. Thus, although the data collection phase and the project are currently in progress, we analyze the first data collected in the Canary Islands, using a questionnaire prepared by the research group -that is part of the project- as a tool for gathering information. We obtained that the contents of the training received by the teachers and the impact it has on their practice are somewhat different, it is also surprising, for example, that such training has a weak impact on the student learning process, or that the contents that deal on student diversity are poorly valued by teachers.
