Abstract

This research discusses how to improve student learning outcomes in the field of Pancasila Education. Students still experience difficulties in understanding the diversity of ethnic groups in Indonesia. Research conducted in this study using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 26 students who were in fourth grade at Canggu 2 Public Elementary School. This research underwent two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Data collection techniques using planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. In cycle I, student learning outcomes based on learning outcomes with an average score of 71.15 increased to 77.5 in cycle I, and 93.65 in cycle II with a complete percentage of 34.61% increased to 50% in cycle I , and 96.15% in cycle II. With this research yielded results showing that the Problem Based Learning learning model through the media of My Nation's Diversity Map can improve student learning outcomes.
