Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of flashcard media to improve the reading ability of dyslexic students at SD IT Al Minah. The type of research used by the author is qualitative research, with a descriptive method. The qualitative research approach is a type of research that is descriptive and tends to use a more in-depth analysis. The author obtained information that there were 23 students in grade I of SD IT Al Minah. There are 5 students who already have good initial reading skills and 20 students who still have difficulty or inability to start reading. Flashcard learning media is a tool used by teachers as a communication material for teachers during the learning process in class to convey messages to students. Dyslexia is a neurological disorder that affects a person's ability to process written language information. This condition is not related to a person's intelligence or academic ability, but rather to the way the brain processes written language information. Evaluation and reflection to overcome dyslexic students are very important to ensure that the strategies implemented are effective and appropriate to their needs.
