Abstract

In the article Mammographic Parenchymal Features and Breast Cancer in the Breast Cancer Detection Demonstration Project by Brisson et al. published in Vol. 80, No. 19, December 7, 1988, the title of Table 2 should read "Cumulative mortality (CM) from breast cancer ...." The first sentence of the last paragraph (page 1539) should read "...suggests that morphologic characteristics of breast tissue at a relatively young age are more closely related to the development of breast cancer than they are at older ages." © 1989 Oxford University Press.
