Abstract

Earthquake is one of the most destructive and life wrecking natural calamity that basically happens due to energy released from Earth’s crust. In this paper we propose to serve previous years’ earthquake data as a parameter and visualize relationships, if any, among various attributes of the data set. In conclusion we aim to discover regions which are most and least prone to earthquake and the probable magnitude of earthquake at various latitudes and longitudes. Studying raw data from excel sheet is old century and very hard so we have used data mining techniques such as clustering and regression to achieve the obtained results.
