Application of Data Mining in the Banking Sector

Abstract

Data mining has already proved itself as an efficient tool for discovery of various patterns in large databases. This article reviews general data mining understanding and its areas of usage and application in order to understand and implement Data Mining solutions. Traditional analysis model and data mining approach for data analysis is explained. In addition different techniques are reviewed which help process dump data into meaningful and understandable information.
