Artistic-figurative thinking as one of the aspects of creative abilities formation in a future fine arts teacher

Abstract

The relevance of the problem under study is due to the need to form the artistic-creative abilities of a future fine arts teacher. The solution to the problem of artistic-figurative thinking formation is based on the results of scientific research on such processes as perception, memory, imagination, thinking, emotions and feelings. One-four-year-of-study students of the Nizhnevartovsk State University (Arts and Design Faculty) took part in the pedagogical experiment. The positive dynamics of the indicators of the experimental groups in relation to the control groups has been revealed. At the stage of the control experiment, indicators growth dynamics is noticeable in the experimental groups of medium and high levels in comparison with the ascertaining and formative stages, the low level drops significantly. For example, the low level of such parameter as”Analysis of the emotional-semantic message” when painting the landscape to convey an artistic-figurative state in the first year of study was 44%, in the second year of study - 41%, in the third year of study - 36% and in the fourth year of study - 30%. The analysis of the works of students of the pedagogical experiment led to the conclusion that methodological techniques and assumptions (a set of special tasks and exercises) aimed at enhancing the process of forming artistic-figurative thinking had a positive impact on the quality of work. During the study, the most effective and productive forms of work with students were established, and processing the results of students' creative activity showed the effectiveness of the selected teaching methods and techniques.
