Abstract
A patient with gastric carcinoma had hepatic metastases proven by biopsy. He survived for 12 years in the absence of therapy, at which time laparotomy revealed a total regression of the tumor tissue in his liver. Through this phenomenon is extremely rare, the “spontaneous” regression of hepatic metastases from gastric carcinoma can occur. Copyright © 1972 American Cancer Society
