Abstract
This study focuses on the formulation, evaluation, and comparison of herbal shampoos incorporating Hibiscus rosa-sinensis and other natural ingredients. Herbal shampoos are gaining preference due to their minimal side effects, absence of harmful chemicals like sulfates, and their benefits for hair care. The formulation process included ingredients such as hibiscus powder, aloe vera gel, soap nut, gelatin, lemon juice, rose water, and methyl paraben. The study aimed to assess the shampoo's physicochemical properties, antimicrobial activity, and effectiveness compared to commercial shampoos. Evaluation parameters such as pH, viscosity, foam stability, surface tension, and dirt dispersion were measured. Results indicated that herbal shampoos provided conditioning, dandruff prevention, and improved hair texture while being safer and environmentally friendly alternatives to synthetic shampoos. This research highlights the potential of herbal shampoos as effective and sustainable hair care solutions
