Nouvelles données sur les Candoninae (Ostracoda) hypogés de Roumanie et Yougoslavie

Abstract

The paper deals with the morphology and systematics of the Pseudocandona belonging to the group eremita . A diagnosis of this group and detailed descriptions of the species Ps. serbani n. sp. (= Ps. n. sp. aff. eremita Danielopol, 1978) and Ps. pretneri Danielopol, 1978, are presented. A comparative study of the Ps. inaequivalvis baikalensis and the Pseudocandona of the group eremita shows that the former species belongs to a baikalian group and not to an european one. The possible phylogenetical affinities of recent groundwater species of the Pseudocandona group Eremita with the fossil species Cavernocandona roaixensis Carbonnel are discussed
