How to treat the frail elderly: The challenge of multimorbidity and polypharmacy

Abstract

The pharmacologic management of lower urinary tract symptoms in frail older adults is complicated by two key considerations: the increased likelihood of comorbidities and the increased likelihood of polypharmacy.
