Abstract

An international classic,Satow's Guide to Diplomatic Practice provides a comprehensive survey of the rules, laws and conventions covering the conduct of diplomacy, not only between individual nations, but also through international organisations. This radically revised fifth edition reflects the developments in diplomacy over the twenty years, since publication of the last edition, and now covers commercial and economic functions of diplomacy, modern communications, and terrorism.
