Abstract

The Pancasila Economic System, which is based on Pancasila values, offers alternative solutions to address global economic challenges. This system emphasizes the balance between individual and community interests with the aim of achieving shared prosperity. The principle of social justice promoted by Pancasila Economics can address the economic gap exacerbated by globalization. In addition, the principle of mutual cooperation and collaboration is important in creating synergy for sustainable economic development. Economic independence emphasized in the Pancasila Economic System helps developing countries reduce dependence on developed countries by utilizing local potential. This system also emphasizes environmental sustainability as a response to the challenges of climate change. However, the implementation of the Pancasila Economic System faces challenges, including translating Pancasila values ​​into concrete economic policies, unequal distribution of resources, dependence on natural resources, lack of innovation and technology, complex bureaucracy, and corruption.
