Abstract
This study describes communities of aquatic oligochaetes living in a small river flowing into the Atlantic, the River Tambre, and its environments (lagoon, reservoir, ria). It examines the spatial distributions of the different populations and analyses the chief factors responsible for these distributions.Data on seasonal changes of the principal populations and their reproductive periods complete the faunistic study of oligochaetes found in these localities. © Masson, 1990.
