Abstract

The oil from leaves of Cotinus coggygria Scop. (Anacardiaceae) obtained by hydrodistillation was analysed by GC-MS. Forty-two components were characterized, representing 99.6% of the total components detected. The major constituents were identified as limonene (48.5%), (Z)-β-ocimene (27.9%) and (E)-β-ocimene (9.7%). Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
