Abstract

9-valent human papillomavirus vaccine is now recommended as a 2-dose serie (0, 6-12 months) for healthy adolescents 9-14 years. Meningococcal type B (MenB)-FHbp (Trumenba), previously a 3-dose series, may be given in a 2-dose series (0, 6 months) to healthy adolescents; MenB vaccination remains a Category B recommendation (individual clinical decision making) for healthy adolescents. The wording for the recommendations for the hepatitis B vaccine birth dose was strengthened to encourage administration of the birth dose by 24 hours of age.
