Abstract
This paper is a brief summary of the conservation, research and recovering works made on the textile collection, dated in the 15th and 16th centuries, from the Hispanic Society of America (New York). Those works of art were the main focus of the exhibition L'Art del Velluters. Sedería de los siglos XV-XVI. It was the first time that those excellent textiles were exhibited abroad. During the progress of that project, managed by the IVC+R, several national and international institutions of cultural heritage conservation participated.
