Abstract

Lychnothamnus barbatus collected from Karnataka, India has a large number of chromosomes with distinct karyomorphology and morphologically larger measurements and hence treated as new of variety of L. barbatus var. gigantii var. nov. © 1983, Japan Mendel Society, International Society of Cytology.
