Abstract

The article discusses the use of wikis for library policies and procedures. It references studies of wikis in libraries provided by Matthew M. Bejune and Samuel Kai-Wah Chu. The importance of the availability of an information technology (IT) staff member to provide basic training on the use of the wiki is stressed. Also included are the types of document that should be added to a Wiki and guidelines when drafting the different processes in the department workflow.
