Abstract

This research was conducted from January until April 2016, located on Gusung Island, Selayar Archipelago Regency. The research aimed to analyze the income of fishermen coral trout grouper (Plectropomus leopardus) in the research area. The study used a survey method with quantitative data analysis. The results of the study found that revenue of fishing rod higher than traps, the total cost of fishing rod higher than traps, but the profit of traps higher than a fishing rod. Revenue from fishing rod equal to IDR 45,000,000 and revenue from trap equal to IDR 36,000,000. Total cost from fishing rod equal to IDR 23,931,000 and total cost from trap equal to IDR 7,056,000. Profit from fishing rod equal to IDR 21,069,000 and profit from trap equal to IDR 28,944,000.
