Abstract

Abstract The development of knowledge and technology for concrete also continues to grow, this product has several structures from paving blocks which include a mixture of coarse aggregate (gravel), fine aggregate (sand), cement, water, and additional materials as desired. The addition of paving blocks in the form of pieces of bendrat wire where one of the problems is the occurrence of breaks or cracks caused by tensile and compressive stresses due to loads that exceed their capabilities. This addition is expected to have an effect on the mechanical properties of the mixture. With the principle of binding between the aggregates on the paving block so as to form a better bond than the components that make up paving blocks in general. In this research, the paving block materials used are uniform 5 mm coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement, the percentage of wire bendrat 5 gr, 10 gr and 15 gr and the percentage of water that can be used to achieve K-200 concrete quality.. Cost analysis is an estimate when we manufacture one or several paving blocks at a relatively low price with good quality. From the results of testing the compressive strength of concrete paving, trial and error (normal) obtained a
