Abstract

The study of some new Cretaceous insects found in the lithographic limestones outcrops of Spain has led to the recognition of three new forms of odonates (Insecta, Odonata). Nymphs of Zygoptera of the type-genus Samarura have been found, which have already been recognized in other outcrops in the world. Hoyaeshna cretacica n.gen. and n.sp. (Aeshnidae, Gomphaeshninae) is described. This new species presents a psScP vein which begins in the nodus and follows partially the postnodal field, replacing the path that in some odonate groups the ScP vein realizes, as for example, in the Zygoptera Sieblosidae and in the Anisoptera Aeschnidiidae. -English summary
