Abstract

Anemia is more common in adolescent girls than adolescent boys, with a prevalence of 26.8% in this age group. The purpose of this program is to increase adolescent knowledge about balanced nutrition and compliance in consuming blood- supplement tablets to prevent anemia. Youth counseling is used to carry out this program. The program's outcomes revealed an improvement in understanding about anemia and balanced nutrition, as well as adherence with the consumption of blood supplement tablets.
