This study aims to determine pedagogical content knowledge of the alumni of Arabic Language Education Department at Education and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. This study is naturalistic descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data on pedagogical content knowledge was obtained through observation and interviews. Data were analyzed by data reduction, presention, and conclusions. The validity of the data was assessed by triangulation method. The research results show that pedagogical content knowledge ability of the alumni of Arabic Language Education Department to a great extent has been good, in which three of the four components of the pedagogical content knowledge have been fulfilled and good, i.e. knowledge of materials, teaching representation and strategy, and teaching objectives and contexts. Meanwhile the component of knowledge about student understanding is still low. Alumni do not know the students' initial ability before entering class, do not identify students' learning difficulties before entering class, do not use assessment methods to evaluate students' understanding of the lesson, and the tests provided have not helped students realize their learning situation. Nevertheless alumni have presented questions to find out students 'understanding of the topics taught during class learning, use different approaches of discussion and question and answer to find out students' understanding of the material being taught, and facilitate them to understand subject matter through scaffolding even though it is not yet optimal. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pedagogical content knowledge alumni Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh.
