Abstract

Differential pulse polarography was used to monitor the titration of crab (Cancer pagurus) cadmium metallothionein with additional cadmium. Scatchard analysis was used to calculate an apparent second-order dissociation constant. A mean value of 3.60 x 10-7 M was calculated at 20 °C in 0.016 M-NaClO4, pH 8.0.
