Abstract
This study examined the antibacterial properties of the probiotic Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris CNRZ 107 against Salmonella sp.. Both in vitro and in vivo tests showed the antibacterial efficacy of this probiotic strain against the Salmonella pathogen. Its antibacterial efficacy was noted to be persistent even in prevalent gastrointestinal conditions (i.e., pH, bile salts, digestive enzymes).
