Pengaruh Model Snowball Throwing Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing pada mata pelajaran IPA terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Bebekan Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penlitian ini adalah noneviqualent control group design. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas yakni kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V-A dan V-B SDN Bebekan Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa soal pretest dan posttest. Validasi penelitian ini adalah validator pakar. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji statistik non parametrik dengan analisis uji Mann Whitney, karena data tidak terdistribusi normal dan tidak homogen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Bebekan Kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan rata-rata nilai posttest 96 setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil output "Test Statistics", yang menunjukkan Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Hipotesis 1 (H1) diterima, yang artinya ada perbedaan pada nilai pretest dan posttest serta ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims to determine the impact of cooperative learning models of Snowball Throwing type on student learning outcomes in science subjects with single substance and mixtures material in V grade of SDN Bebekan Sidoarjo. This type of research is quantitative with the experimental method and the design that used for this research is noneviqualent control group design. The research subjects were students of grade V-A and grade V-B of SDN Bebekan Sidoarjo. The data collection techniques that used were pretest and posttest. Validation of this research is expert validator. Analysis data that used is a non parametric statistical test with the Mann Whitney test analysis, because the data were not normally distributed and not homogeneous. The results of this research indicates that there is an influence on student learning outcomes of V grade students of SDN Bebekan Sidoarjo with an average posttest score of 96 after using the cooperative learning models of Snowball Throwing type. The output of this research was proved by the output of the "Test Statistics" which shows Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is worth 0,000 < 0,05. It can be concluded that Hypothesis 1 (H1) is accepted, which means there is a difference in the value of pretest and posttest and there is a big impact of the cooperative learning models of Snowball Throwing type on student learning outcomes.
