Abstract

In this paper, we explain best practices of bringing together diverse teams from business, technology and user experience in a large-scale software development setup and coaching them to use design thinking as a methodology to product definition and innovation, in less than 5 weeks. This paper can serve as a primer for those who are new to design thinking and coaching. It contributes to a better understanding of the importance of a coach in nurturing a design thinking mindset. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
