Abstract
Introduction: Primary care is the main service in health care. One of the primary services available at puskesmas is inpatient services. The number of inpatient health centers in Indonesia is increasing, but access to inpatient services by BPJS patients has decreased. Objective: This study aims to determine the factors associated with RITP utilization in BPJS Health participants in Indonesia in 2019-2020. Method: This study is a quantitative study by processing BPJS Health Sample Data 2015-2020. The sample of this study were BPJS Health participants who utilized FKTP services in 2019-2020. Data analysis was carried out univariate, bivariate and multivariate. Result: The results showed that RITP utilization in participants diagnosed with non-communicable diseases (9.11%) was higher than RITP utilization in participants diagnosed with infectious diseases (4.28%) and in participants diagnosed with no complaints by 1.50%. The Chi Square test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between disease diagnosis and RITP utilization. Conclusion: Disease diagnosis is related to the utilization of RITP for BPJS Health participants in Indonesia in 2019-2020.
