Abstract

In order to discover more potent pyrethrum synergists, dihydrodillapiole and furapiole, two dillapiole-based compounds having considerable synergistic activity, were converted into various acyl and α,β-unsaturated carbonyl derivatives. The synthesis, factor of synergism, spectroscopic data and structure activity relationships of these derivatives are reported. © 1982, Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry.
