Abstract

The article presents the author's view on self presentation in writing center discourse. It reflects that the writing center practitioners should understand the importance of talk. Because the talk connects each other and to their own identities. It acts as an enactment of self identity and professional identity. It gives a chance to the writing center practitioners to help others while clarifying their thoughts, creating sense and constructing realities. Regarding discourse each consultant's and student's personality, experience, age, background and gender play a part in the betterment of it.
