Abstract

The article discusses the role of parenting in ethnic and racial minority families in the U.S. Demographic trends revealed a proportion of ethnic minority students attending Catholic schools. Parenting in ethnic minority families is influenced by complex factors such as the roles of poverty, social support, racism and prejudice.
