Abstract

A system of many phase oscillators is studied in the case of a star-like interaction through a central element (the analogue of a common field) with phase shifts in the connections. Equations for the frequency of full and partial synchronization are derived. A numerical solution to the equations allows the evaluation of the role of the phase shifts in the dynamical behavior of the system.
