Abstract
Experimental evidence for the saturation dependence of the nonlinear behavior of Berea sandstone has been analyzed using the Preisach-Mayergoyz space (P-M space) model in terms of classical and non-classical mesoscopic entities. The analysis suggests the introduction of two macroscopic solid-fluid interaction pressures, which link the moisture influence to characteristic populations of the material composition.
