Abstract

The genus Epipompilus Kohl, 1884 occurs in the New World and Australasian regions. Epipompilus aztecus (Cres-son, 1869) has been previously recorded in Mexico, Central America and South America. The record presented here expands the distribution of this species further north, into the south-central United States.
