A new biflavone, 5’-hydroxyamentofiavone, was isolated, together with naringenin, apigenin, luteolin, 2,3-dihydroamentoflavone, amentoflavone, afzelin, cosmosiin, quercitrin, and 4-β-D-glucopyranosyloxyferulic acid, from pollen grains of Cryptomeria japonica D.
