Perbedaan Perilaku Prososial Ditinjau Dari Jenis Kelamin

Abstract

Learning motivation is important to study because it becomes the basic capital for students to be moved in learning. By having the motivation to learn, students are more easily guided to learn. One of the factors that influence learning motivation is conscientiousness personality. This research is a quantitative research with the type of ex post facto research which aims to determine the influence of personality conscientiousness on the motivation to learn biology for the tenth grade students of SMAN 14 Bone. The research instrument used was a psychological scale, namely the conscientiousness personality scale and the biology learning motivation scale, which had previously been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis after going through the analysis prerequisite test (normality test and linearity test). The results of the regression test showed that the conscientiousness personality had an effect on the students' motivation to learn biology in class X SMAN 14 Bone (p < 0.05). The influence of conscientiousness personality on students' motivation to learn biology is 84.8%, while the remaining 15.2% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. The results of this study imply that teachers in teaching must pay attention to the personality of students, especially the conscientiousness personality because it has been proven to have an effect on students' motivation to learn biology.
