Abstract

The present article provides the results of a study on the noise as an industrial agent in a coffee company, during the roasting process, packaging and distribution of the final product. The study is oriented to identify the dangers and risks that are presented in the processes to determine the level to which the workers are exposed with the purpose of establishing preventive protection measures that allow to control the risks. Although the results of this study cannot be generalized, due to its qualitative nature, the proposed study can guide similar studies in other related processes in the coffee industry.
