Abstract
In the digital era, various forms of new services have emerged, one of which is the Titip Service (Jastip) which is increasingly popular among the public. This service allows consumers to obtain goods from within and outside the country without having to shop directly. However, the Jastip business also carries various risks for consumers, such as fraud and lack of information transparency. This article analyzes cases of Jastip fraud and its impact on consumer protection in Indonesia. The main focus of the research is on economic ethics in Jastip services, particularly aspects of honesty, fairness, as well as compliance with applicable legal rules, such as the Consumer Protection Law. This research also discusses the role of the government in improving consumer protection through special regulations for the informal e-commerce sector. It is hoped that this research can be a reference for consumers in choosing safe Jastip services and for the government in formulating appropriate policies for consumer protection in the digital era. Keywords: Jastip Services, Economic Ethics, Consumer Protection, Fraud, Regulation
