Genetograma: um instrumento de trabalho na compreensão sistêmica de vida.

Abstract

The paper approaches an experience that began with our capacitation in family systemic therapy that added to our professional practice, a modern, effective and operational work instrument. Based on the presumptions that one of the roles of this modality of treatment is the reorganization of the system considering the inherent potentialities of each family, we created the service at Santa Maria University Hospital-HUSM, believing that with the genetic map it would be possible to include the family during the recovery process of alcoholic people, treated at the hospital. We concluded the paper suggesting to health professionals to the genetic map in order to have the opportunity to confirm this study findings.
