Abstract
They are unlike conventional vehicles, which are powered by internal combustion engines, electric vehicles use electricity stored in rechargeable batteries or fuel cells to power the electric motor. Electric vehicles have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their lower environmental impact and potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They are also more efficient than traditional gasoline- powered vehicles and can save drivers money on fuel costs. BEVs are powered solely by electricity and must be recharged using an external power source, such as a charging station or household outlet. PHEVs, on the other hand, have both an electric motor and a gasoline engine and can switch between electric and gasoline power depending on driving conditions. Despite the advantages of electric vehicles, there are still some challenges to widespread adoption, such as the limited range of many models and the availability of charging infrastructure. However, advances in technology and increasing public awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles are expected to drive continued growth in this market in the coming years.
