Abstract

Language is a system of arbitrary vocal symbols used for human communication. It is closely and intricately related to culture. It is part of culture. And as carriers of culture, language reflects culture. This essay dwells on the digging of the relationship between the language teaching, especially English teaching, and culture teaching today, and tries to find a more suitable method of language teaching as well as culture teaching.
