Abstract
Introduction: Adolescents are individuals who need attention because they are quite curious and want to try something new, including when teenagers have started to know about sexual and reproductive health. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and the role of parents in preventing pregnancy in adolescents at SMA PGRI 1 Sidoarjo. Methods: This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional research design. The sample size in this study used a random sampling method. The sample amounted to 65 students consisting of students in class X and XI. Results: After the data was tested using the Chi-Square statistical test, it showed that the respondents had good knowledge, a supportive attitude towards pregnancy prevention behavior in their teens, and the role of parents in preventing pregnancy behavior in their teens. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and the role of parents on pregnancy prevention behavior in adolescents.
