Abstract

Management of vesical hemorrhaging due to pelvic radiation therapy poses a significant clinical problem for the urologist. Reviewed above are a number of conservative therapies that are currently employed in managing this problem. These conservative therapies will manage close to 90% of patients so afficted. In patients where conservative measures fail, surgery is recommended to divert the urine and remove the bladder.
