Abstract

The structures of seven novel potent granulation-inhibiting principles isolated from the buds of Eucalyptus globulus Labill., were examined on the basis of physicochemical data, especially of 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), 13C-NMR, mass spectrum (MS) and circular dichroism (CD). The structures (but not the complete stereochemistry) of euglobal-Ia1, -Ia2, -Ib, -Ic, -IIa, -IIb and -IIc were proposed to be 2–7 and 8, respectively. © 1982, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
