UMA QUALIDADE PARA A ESCOLA PÚBLICA: ENTRE O SOCIALMENTE REFERENCIADO E A LÓGICA DA REGULAÇÃO POR RESULTADOS

Abstract

RESUMO O artigo tem por objetivo analisar os contornos do debate sobre qualidade social da educação, ocorrido a partir dos anos de 1990, e marcas de alguma permeabilidade dessa qualidade social na política educacional do período, em contexto de emergência da regulação por resultados. Examina documentos nos quais a qualidade social é advogada e o potencial que possuem diante de tal regulação. Havida certa permeabilidade da qualidade social e também seu descarte por políticas embebidas da ideologia neodireitista, ressalta que a escola pública com qualidade social diz respeito à construção de uma nova hegemonia.ABSTRACT The article aims to analyze the contours of the debate on social quality of education, which took place from the 1990s, and the marks of some permeability of this social quality in the educational policy of the period, in the context of result-based regulation emergence. Examine documents that social quality is defended and their power towards such regulation. Considering a certain permeability of social quality and its dismissal by policies embedded in neo-right ideology, the text highlights that the public school with social quality refers to the construction of new hegemony.
