Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out whether P2P Lending can replace or complement Bank Lending in financial service activities for MSMEs and provide alternative solutions, both for P2P Lending and Banks that provide KUR services. The location of this research is in Pesawaran Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research. The method used is a survey method using interviews as the main instrument to collect primary data from 55 SMEs in Pesawaran. The data analysis technique used in this study is content analysis. The population in this study were all MSMEs in Pesawaran Regency. The sampling technique for SMEs uses cluster random sampling. Pesawaran Regency has 11 Districts. MSMEs in this study used 5 types of businesses, namely: culinary business, fashion, creative economy, agribusiness, other businesses. The results of this study indicate that even though P2P lending and banks that provide KUR serve the same market share, both have different qualities of borrowers . P2P lending cannot replace Bank KUR but only as a complement to Bank Lending (KUR).
