Abstract
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy becomes the most popular technique of the treatment of gallbladder lithiasis. The consequences of this procedure (including the influence of pneumoperitoneum on cardiorespiratory system, the increase of frequency of bile duct injury, shortening of hospital stay) are compared to classical cholecystectomy and minicholecystectomy. Further evaluation is necessary to choose between classical cholecystectomy, minicholecystectomy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy according to particular specificity of the patient.
